At ModernMD, Patient Care Coordinators prove to be a vital part of our team in being the first friendly face our patients see when they visit us! As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will play an instrumental role in greeting & supporting our patients during registration, ensuring comprehensive patient documentation & verifying & explaining insurance coverage, patient responsibility & ModernMD processes & procedures.

Responsibilities

All Patient Care Coordinators are responsible for ensuring a smooth visit process for our patients & for our clinical team by overseeing tasks including but not limited to:

  • Greeting & guiding patients
  • Addressing phone calls
  • Registering patients in our electronic medical records system
  • Scanning & updating electronic medical records
  • Processing & verifying insurance coverage / collecting patient responsibility
  • Explaining ModernMD’s services & processing, addressing questions as needed
  • Performing follow up calls, as assigned
