ModernMD’s Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants & Physicians deliver high-quality, accessible, and timely medical care for non-life-threatening conditions that require immediate attention. ModernMD aims to bridge the gap between primary care and emergency services by offering convenient, walk-in services for illnesses and injuries that are too urgent for a regular doctor’s visit but not severe enough to require a hospital emergency room.  We focus on providing compassionate, efficient, and affordable healthcare, ensuring that patients receive prompt treatment in a comfortable environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Patient Assessment and Diagnosis: Conduct thorough medical evaluations, including taking patient histories, performing physical examinations, and ordering necessary tests to diagnose non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries.
  • Treatment and Care: Evaluate and medically treat patients in accordance with our medical delivery standard of care as well as any and all regulatory guidelines.
  • Patient Education: Offer guidance on managing conditions, including home care instructions, lifestyle changes, and when to seek further medical attention. Ensuring patients fully understand their diagnosis and treatment options.
  • Emergency Response: Respond promptly to more urgent cases and stabilize patients if needed, while determining if transfer to a higher level of care (such as an emergency room or specialist) is necessary.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring proper documentation of diagnoses, treatments, and compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
  • Ensuring a Safe and Efficient Environment: Help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient healthcare setting that prioritizes patient safety, confidentiality, and comfort.
