Bring Your Health Insurance ID Card
Carrying your health insurance card with you is always a good idea, but bringing it on your visit is especially important.
ModernMD Bills Your Insurer
Once your visit is complete, our team bills your insurance company for the visit and services provided by ModernMD.
You Receive EOB & Any Balance Due
After your claim is processed, insurance companies typically send an Explanation of Benefits (EOB). Learn about balances due below.
Got a bill, even though you’re insured?
Sometimes, you may receive a bill from us after a visit. This happens across the health care industry due to balance billing, which occurs when the cost of the visit exceeds what your insurer will cover.
